Vessels and Nerves of the Lower Limb
The study of the lower limb includes many layers of anatomical knowledge: blood vessels, lymphatic vessels and nodes, nerves and of course their mutual relations. This study guide was created with the intention of making this process easier, more accessible, offering students a structural framework that leads them through the systematic anatomy, topographic anatomy and the clinical relevance of this knowledge.
The texbook provides systematic and topographic view at the lower limb.
The first part presents the vessels and nerves sytematicallyone by one, with explanation of their course and function and with important clinical notes.
The second part provides topographic aproach to the lower limb, showing how the vessels and nerves and muscles come together within the anatomical regions and spaces.
The final chapter contains the review questions, that allow students to assess their understanding of the key topics.
