The textbook was composed for the pre graduate medical students as the basic educational material. It contains the solid theoretical basis of the anatomy of the urogenital system with a focus on clinical application. The textbook has four chapters. The first chapter describes the organs of the urinary system, the second and the third deals with the male and female genital system, respectively. Each organ is described as for the position and relations, external description, internal structure (or the wall), blood supply, lymph drainage, and innervation. The theoretical parts are completed by clinical columns. The fourth chapter contains the review questions that may help students verify their knowledge. Although the textbook contains schemas, photographs of formalin-fixed cadaveric specimens and modified figures from public domain, Henry Gray 'Anatomy of the Human Body' (Philadelphia: Lea & Febiger, 1918), it is necessary to use the anatomical atlas, too (Sobotta's, Gilroy's, Netter's or Gray's atlas of human anatomy). Only parallel usage of the textbook and the atlas is effective and may lead to the optimal study result. We believe that students will find this textbook to be valuable material for their study and review of anatomy.

This study guide has been prepared for medical students as a basic educational material for the anatomy practicals and anatomy exam. The first chapter provides introduction to the cardiovascular system, the heart and basic description of the circulations. The second chapter deals with the organs of respiratory system.
The text is fulfilled by the photographs of formalin fixed cadaveric preparates used during the anatomy practicals in our department, however, it is necessary combine the study with using of anatomy atlases (Sobotta´s, Gray´s, Gilroy ´s or Netter´s atlas of human anatomy). Several figures of joints and ligaments are retrieved from public domein of Gray´s Anatomy of human Body (1918) and Servier Medical Art. The last part of the study guide contains a set of review questions which can help the students to check their knowledge. We hope you will find this study guide useful material for your individual stud and review.

This study guide has been prepared for medical students as a basic educational material for the anatomy practicals. The first chapter provides explanation of basic anatomical terms used for the description of the structures of human body. Understanding of these terms is essential for the study of anatomy and for the future clinical practise. The main part of the study guide presents concise knowledge about the axial skeleton – vertebral column, skeleton of the thorax and the skull. The text is fulfilled by the photographs of dry bones (bony preparations) used during the anatomy practicals in our department, however, it is necessary combine the study with using of anatomy atlases (Sobotta´s, Gray´s, Gilroy ´s or Netter´s atlas of human anatomy). Several figures are retrieved from the public domein of Gray´s Anatomy of human Body (1918). The last part of the study guide contains a set of review questions which can help the students when they will prepare for the credit tests and final exam.
I hope you will find this study guide useful resource for your independend study and review.
